About this Course

Challenge of the Treasure Quest is an action-packed robotics adventure for kids aged 8-14, where participants will design, build, and drive VEX IQ robots to collect hidden treasures! As treasure hunters, teams will navigate mazes and overcome obstacles to gather as many treasures as possible—while also defending their stash from rival robots and teams. With expert mentor guidance, participants will solve challenges using custom-built robots & attachments designed to locate, retrieve, and protect treasures. Along the way, they'll sharpen their problem-solving, engineering, and strategic thinking skills. The program culminates in the Ultimate Treasure Collection Challenge, where teams race against the clock to collect and defend treasures, outsmarting their opponents in a thrilling, friendly competition. Whether you're new to robotics or a returning Battle Bots participant, this adventure offers a fun, hands-on experience for all skill levels! An electrifying program designed for kids aged 8-14 to explore the captivating world of robotics through hands-on activities and thrilling competition. Engage in play-based learning, storytelling, and interactive lessons. Young innovators will immerse themselves in designing, building, and using VEX IQ under the guidance of industry experts. They will learn to apply engineering principles throughout the course. Using competition-grade robotics materials, they will design a robot fit for competing in the final competition. Refund Policy: One week’s notice for full refund must be provided. If less than one week’s notice is given, 50% of the fee will be refunded. If notice is given on or after the start date of the program, no refund will be provided. LAST CLASS: Tournament with South Delta. Class will be at South Delta Recreation Centre in Hall C
