About this Class

Come and try out different arts and culture programs during Culture Days. This program offers emerging and established artists and designers an opportunity to learn how to create banner stylized artwork. Using banner templates and guidelines you will sketch, draw or paint an original design which reflects the City of Delta’s unique community; its values, diversity, people and landscapes. Once complete you can either take your completed work home or it can be used as a submission into the “Delta City Community Banner” contest. A volunteer panel of local artists and a member of Delta’s Heritage Advisory Commission will select the winners.
